BRO. JOHN HAMILTON FERGUSON passed to the Grand Lodge Above on Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at the age of 88. Initiated on February 18, 1957 into Canada Lodge 3527, United Grand Lodge of England, he affiliated with Civil Service Lodge No. 148 on September 10, 1963.

John's career with the Department of Foreign Affairs took him on postings to London, England, Vienna, Tokyo, Islamabad, Baghdad and Moscow.

He was a Scottish Rite Mason and a member of the Shriner's Tunis Temple.

Bro. Ferguson was presented with a 50-year Grand Lodge Long Service Award on September 11, 2007.

We will cherish his memory in our hearts forever.
