BRO. EDWIN PERCY NUNN passed to the Grand Lodge Above on Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at the age of 95. Initiated into Civil Service Lodge No. 148 on February 13, 1940, he was our oldest and longest serving member.

'Eddie' retired from a career as a cartographer with the Geological Survey of Canada in 1975. He was also a long-time actor and supporter of the Ottawa Little Theatre as well as the Orpheus Musical Society, where he served as honourary president in 2006-2007.

Bro. Nunn was granted Life Membership in Civil Service Lodge No. 148 in 1982. In 2002, he received a Grand Lodge Long Service Award recognizing over 60-years of Masonic Service. At the time of his death he had been a member of our lodge for 67 years.

We will cherish his memory in our hearts forever.
