THE OFFICIAL VISIT of R.W.Bro. Barry F. Burchill, D.D.G.M., was held on Tuesday, February 13, 2007 and the focus of the evening was charity. After the close of lodge, we invited Mrs. Marion Rattray, Manager of Roger's House and the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) Palliative Care Outreach Program to address the brethren assembled.

Following a very informative discussion on the operation of Roger's House, Mrs. Rattray was presented with a cheque for $40,000.00 on behalf of the Masons of Ottawa District 1. On March 9, 2007, W.Bro. Dan Beaudoin received this letter of thanks.
